Dry Cleaner Presser

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Presser to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that garments are pressed to perfection, maintaining high standards of quality and customer satisfaction. This role is essential in providing our clients with clean, wrinkle-free clothing and linens, contributing to the overall success of our dry cleaning and laundry services.

Duties

• Operate pressing machines and equipment to press garments, linens, and other textile items efficiently.
• Inspect items for stains or damage before pressing and report any issues to the supervisor.
• Launder items as needed, ensuring adherence to proper cleaning protocols.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pressing area and equipment.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns regarding their garments.
• Handle cash register transactions accurately, including cash handling for payments.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely processing of orders in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in dry cleaning or hospitality is preferred but not required.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions effectively.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to clean and press various types of fabrics.
• Excellent customer service skills to enhance client satisfaction.
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a busy environment.
• Familiarity with hotel or hospitality settings is a plus but not mandatory.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $16.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
