We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pool Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for pool maintenance and a strong mechanical aptitude. As a Pool Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring that pools are clean, safe, and well-maintained, providing excellent service to our clients. This role requires hands-on work with various tools and equipment, making it essential for candidates to possess strong technical skills and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine pool cleaning and maintenance tasks, including skimming, vacuuming, and brushing pool surfaces.
- Test water chemistry and adjust chemical levels as needed to ensure safe swimming conditions.
- Inspect pool equipment for functionality and perform necessary repairs or replacements.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to carry out maintenance tasks.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed and report any issues to management.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns regarding pool maintenance.
- Follow safety protocols while working with chemicals and equipment to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a service technician or in pool cleaning is preferred but not required.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and repair pool equipment.
- Familiarity with pool maintenance practices, including water testing and chemical balancing.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license may be required for travel between job sites.
