Position Details:
PRN AVADE/WPV Instructor
Schedule varies. Must teach no less than 10 classes per year.
Non-exempt. PRN, Non-benefited position.
Position Summary:
Work as a team member to provide Instructor lead for AVADE/WPV Training to all Lake Health District employees.
Requirements
Education:
Associates degree in healthcare or safety related field OR a combination of education and relevant work experience.
Licensure/Certification/Registration:
Current instructor certification in AVADE/WPV.
Experience:
Minimum two years' experience in an acute care hospital setting. Knowledge of OR-OSHA Healthcare Workplace Violence Prevention rules. Group or individual teaching experience preferred.
Ability to communicate information to both adults and children. Ability to act and communicate as an effective team member with the other instructors
