Position Details:
Temporary, 6-month duration, Full-time, 40 hrs/week, days 7am - 3:30pm.
Position Summary:
Maintain grounds and landscape on the facility campus, including snow removal and de-icing during winter months.
Requirements
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
Licensure/Certification/Registration:
Current Class C Oregon Driver's License Required. Maintain clean driving record.
Experience:
Previous experience preferred.
Job Knowledge & Skills:
Knowledge of operation of hand/power tools and equipment used in grounds keeping; basic grounds maintenance procedures including mowing, edging, raking and weeding; winter grounds maintenance procedures including plowing & shoveling snow and de-icing; methods, equipment and materials used in gardening and grounds keeping work; health & safety regulations. Ability to perform duties as assigned. Able to use a variety of tools and machines utilized in basic trade and operate equipment safely and effectively. Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions. Self-starter. Strong time management skills. Ability to work with little to no supervision. Complete tasks in a safe and timely manner, following all codes and regulations.
