Position Details:
Registered Nurse, Part-time, 32 hrs/week, 8-hour shifts, typically Mon-Thurs 8:00-5:00
Non-Exempt, Non-Union, Hourly
Benefited position after 500-hour introductory period in met

Position Summary:

The Registered Nurse is a licensed professional who provides direct and indirect patient care services in the home on an intermittent basis under the order of a physician and in accordance with the policies and procedures of the Rural Health Clinics and Visiting Nursing Services guidelines.

Requirements

Education:
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.

Licensure/Certification/Registration:

Registered Nurse, currently licensed in the State of Oregon. CPR certification required. Valid Oregon driver's license. Prior experience as a registered nurse.

Experience:

Previous experience in the area of home health desired or visiting nursing services preferred.

Job Knowledge:
Responsible for understanding and capable of implementing duties within the scope of rules and regulations of the Ore State Board of Nursing and the Nurse Practice Act. Demonstrates working knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid guidelines for Rural Health Clinics and Visiting Nurse Service coverage & compliance.

Skills:
Provide leadership in complex assignments and changing clinical environment. Function calmly and effectively in emergent situations and peak work times. Demonstrate positive and compassionate attitude toward patients and their families. Maintain confidentiality. Function as a positive team member with other staff and providers.

Successful completion of 500-hour probationary period.

Criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen required upon conditional job offer.
