Job Description

Certification Details

  • Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Registration : (ARRT).
  • Active / valid Oregon license.
  • Satisfactory completion of formal radiologic technology training and meets the requirement for registration by ARRT.
  • Computed Tomography certification by ARRT required.
  • CPR certification required.

Job Details

  • Provides patient services using imaging modalities.
  • Performs general radiography and computed tomography (CT) procedures.
  • Applies principles of radiation protection.
  • Evaluates radiographs and CT scans for technical quality.
  • Exercise professional judgment in the performance of procedures.
  • Provides patient care essential to radiographic / CT procedures.
  • Recognizes patient conditions requiring immediate action and initiates life support measures.

    • Job Requirements

  • Minimum of an associate degree from an accredited school of x-ray technology or equivalent experience, bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 1-5 years' experience preferred in both general radiography and CT.
  • Siemen's equipment experience preferred.

    • Schedule Information

  • Shared call involves a minimum of one night per week and one weekend per month.
