What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bar Staff position at Lake Hickory Country Club?
Bartender Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
- Inspect bar prior to opening to ensure that adequate supplies are on hand
- Request additional supplies as necessary
- Follow set-up procedures
- Attend pre-meal meetings as required
- Greet guests
- Take beverage orders
- Prepare garnishes, mixed and pre-mixed drinks
- Mix, prepare and serve drinks according to the recipes approved by the beverage manager
- Check back with member/guest to ensure satisfaction
- Help out food servers with service in dining room
- Consistently follow all sales income control procedures
- Verify accuracy of prices, state and federal taxes, and other charges on all bills
- Present bill to members/guests
- Handle all member charges as prescribed by standard operating procedures
- Keep assigned tables, lounge and bus station and other areas tidy and clean
- Advise supervisor of complaints as they occur
- Consistently comply with all state, local and club laws/policies relating to the service of alcohol
- Maintain and clean equipment
- Maintain records of liquors, beers, wines, and sundries to ensure bar stock is adequate at all times
- Clean and lock-up bar area according to Club procedures
- At the end of the evening, run DSR to close all tickets
