What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pro Shop position at Lake Hickory Country Club?
This is a part-time job hourly position. You can expect between 10-35 hours a week depending on time of year and your availability. The Golf Shop Attendant assists the Golf Professional staff with member service. Responsibilities are but not limited to the following:
Member and Guest Check-in
Greeting all members and guests upon arrival and departure
Ensure all revenue is collected and all rounds are accounted for
Answer incoming phone calls and document messages
Book tee times and register members for events using our online Tee Time reservations system.
Perform all opening and closing duties as needed in the golf shop
Able to problem solve and provide clear communication to Outside staff to find a resolved outcome
Merchandising and Sales
Maintain an attractive and orderly Golf Shop
Assist with receiving of product
Aid in inventory control
Provide insight into new product purchasing
Skills and Abilities
Regular and reliable attendance
Friendly & personable with a willingness to engage with others
Ability to follow instructions and communicate with management
Requirements
Reliable and timely
Able to work early mornings and evenings
Lift up to 50 pounds Stand for extended periods of time
Available to work weekends and Holidays
