Job Summary:
LHP seeks a Director of Health Services to oversee the school’s health services program for all divisions, as defined by the school’s policies and the Florida Department of Health. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: obtaining/maintaining current health and immunization records for all students; annually entering health information from Student Information forms into the PowerSchool database and updates throughout the year as changes in health status occur; managing/maintaining clinic budget; and recruiting, training, developing, supervising, and conducting performance evaluations of full-time, part-time, and adjunct substitute nurses.
This is a full-time, fully-benefitted, 12-month position beginning by July 1, 2025. We encourage applicants from underrepresented groups to apply.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or related field required
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a nurse with leadership and/or supervisory responsibilities required
- Must be licensed in the state of Florida as a Registered Nurse
- Must hold valid CPR/AED certification
- Previous pediatric experience and/or experience in school settings preferred
