Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Lateral Police Officer located in Lake in the Hills, IL. The Lateral Police Officer will be responsible for patrolling assigned areas, responding to emergency and non-emergency calls, conducting criminal investigations, gathering evidence, and enforcing laws and ordinances. The officer will also engage with the community to build trust and foster positive relationships. **Out of State Officers Welcome**


Qualifications

  • Experience as a Police Officer
  • Skills in Evidence collection and management
  • Proficiency in conducting Criminal Investigations
  • Knowledge of Law Enforcement practices and procedures
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional qualifications in criminal justice or related field are a plus
  • Valid state-issued driver’s license
  • Valid US state police certification
