Role Description
This is a full-time role for a Lateral Police Officer located in Lake in the Hills, IL. The Lateral Police Officer will be responsible for patrolling assigned areas, responding to emergency and non-emergency calls, conducting criminal investigations, gathering evidence, and enforcing laws and ordinances. The officer will also engage with the community to build trust and foster positive relationships. **Out of State Officers Welcome**
Qualifications
- Experience as a Police Officer
- Skills in Evidence collection and management
- Proficiency in conducting Criminal Investigations
- Knowledge of Law Enforcement practices and procedures
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional qualifications in criminal justice or related field are a plus
- Valid state-issued driver’s license
- Valid US state police certification
