**Park Groundskeeper Assistant Job Summary:**
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Park Groundskeeper Assistant to join our team at Lake Joy Campground. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing groundskeeping duties, including campsite cleanup, beach maintenance, litter/garbage collection, trimming, brush cleanup, and assisting with other groundskeeping projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain public areas, including game rooms, playgrounds, shower houses, campsites, and other campground locations.
- Prepare rental boats and orient camping guests on their usage.
- Operate equipment, including utility vehicles, weed trimmers, leaf blowers, and power washers.
- Inspect and maintain boats, batteries, motors, inflatable lake toys, and playground equipment.
- Assist with other maintenance tasks as needed, such as minor plumbing and electrical repairs.
Requirements:
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including rotating weekends and holidays.
- Ability to work in an outdoor recreational environment in a variety of weather conditions.
- Employment Term: Seasonal – position runs from early Spring to late Autumn.
