The Grounds Maintenance Worker plays a vital role in maintaining the aesthetic and functional quality of outdoor spaces. Duties
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks including planting, weeding, and mulching to enhance the beauty of outdoor areas.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for various maintenance tasks.
- Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition, conducting routine checks and repairs as necessary.
- Conduct regular lawn care activities such as mowing, edging, to keep grass healthy and vibrant.
- Monitor grounds for safety hazards or maintenance needs, reporting any issues promptly.
- Perform routine cleaning of public areas of the campground.
- Light electrical and plumbing may be required.
Skills
- Experience using hand tools such as shovels, rakes, and pruners effectively.
- Familiarity with power tools including lawn mowers, trimmers, and blowers is essential.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization in outdoor spaces.
