Position Summary:
Lake Mary Pediatric Dentistry is looking for an ambitious Pediatric Dentist to work at a well-established two-location practice. Enjoy the best of both worlds - a large, loyal patient base allowing the right candidate to maximize earnings and pursue a path to continuous professional growth.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Meet the professional, ethical, and moral standards of the American Dental Association.
- Obtain accurate and thorough data on each patient though medical histories, radiographs, and study models (as needed).
- Examine, evaluate, and treat each patient who comes under his/her care.
- Provide preventive, therapeutic and restorative dental care.
- Refer patients to other providers when treatment modalities are not available at the clinic.
- Maintain a sterile/disinfected environment in the delivery of oral care.
- Educate the patient and parent/guardian in the prevention of dental caries and other dental conditions.
- Attend and participate in meetings that involve the clinical team.
- Provide input on the performance and technical skills of the dental auxiliary team members.
- Maintain the spirit of teamwork in the effort to provide a caring respectful environment for the patient, families, and clinic staff.
Requirements:
· Successful completion of accredited Pediatric Dental program.
· Licensed specialist in Pediatric Dentistry.
· D.D.S. or D.M.D with a current Florida license.
· Minimum of two years of experience.
· Basis Life Support (CPR) certification
Preferred:
· Sedation Licensed (or willing to obtain)
