Job Summary:
Processes all College mail and handles warehouse functions including shipping, receiving and inventory. This is a Union position.
Essential Functions:
1. General Administrative duties. Bundles of boxes, packages as needed for courier specifications and deliveries. Maintains accurate records of all accountable mail. Keep spreadsheets for accountable mail updated. 2. Maintains updated Beckwith Hall lists and notifies student of postage. 3. Maintains and updates mailbox lists for all employees and some contracted services. 4. Monthly reports of all accountable mail and permits. 5. Responds to emergencies on campus 6. Maintains worker levels and charging for Forklift, UPS, Fedex and Freight 7. Records, delivers, and processes all U.S. mail and parcel post including Napier sorting. 8. Coordinates warehousing functions including receiving, and delivering supplies. 9. Performs general maintenance duties. 10. Makes pick-ups and deliveries using College vehicles of U.S. mail. 11. Provides time off relief for others with the Facilities Workers union/MEA/NEA. 12. Coordinates disposal of hazardous waste for the Napier Campus 13. Supervises work study in mailroom area 14. Coordinates shredding requirements for the entire Benton Harbor campus. 15. Maintain permit accounts 16. Performs other duties as assigned.

High school diploma or equivalent required. Valid chauffeurs license required. Knowledge of postal procedure, handling and warehousing. Good interpersonal skills. Computer experience required.
