About this position :
The Commercial Lending Credit and Operations Administrator is responsible for working with the Chief Commercial Systems Officer to assist in the review, testing, and support of all commercial operational processes to ensure the department’s processes remain consistent and compliant with commercial lending and credit policies and procedures. This role will also assist in facilitating communication between the Commercial Special Assets Officer and interna / external council and coordinating delivery of required legal documents.
What you’ll do :
Responsible for consistently managing the audit of all commercial loan file maintenance transactions generated by any commercial division employee within the commercial lending core system (SilverLake). Manages and reconcile changes to loan file documentation to identify errors and omissions and will directly communicate with Commercial Lending Management and Internal Audit when issues are identified.
Directs the placement of force placed insurance policies for the credit union’s commercial markets to include managing the insurance expiration reports, pre-emptively identifying loans that require force placed policies, and executing delivery of all required communication. Oversees the process to ensure forced placed policies are paid promptly within timeframe and that the credit union is reimbursed accordingly.
Administers real estate tax tracking reporting for all commercial loan portfolios, including monitoring past due tax reports, all notification of past due reporting to Borrower(s) and Lenders, resolution of past due payments with Borrower(s) and Lenders, administering any protective advances, and payment to government offices.
Manages all communication with and coordination of filings with internal and external legal counsel for issuance of any legal proceedings. Manages the timeframe of all files within various stages of court or legal proceedings and notifying internal parties of changes.
Responsible for managing the Commercial Loan System by resolving system interfacing errors between commercial lending software systems.
Establishes and oversees implementation of a loan sample review process to sample new loan originations in the Commercial and SBA Loan portfolios ensuring required loan documentation and boarding in commercial core system(s).
Manages projects as assigned.
Responsible for adhering to and complying with all applicable federal and state laws, regulations, and guidance, adhering to LMCU’s policies and procedures, and completing required training.

What You’ll Bring :
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, and / or Economics.
Five (5) to eight (8) years’ direct experience in commercial lending. Preferred experience in credit analysis or credit operations.
Formal Commercial Credit training or Paralegal Certification strongly preferred.
Working knowledge of MS Excel, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint. Ability to use a personal computer and LMCU commercial-related software (Jack Henry Platform, including Symitar, SilverLake; Suntell).
Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to collaborate with all commercial lending staff and other departments i.e., Information Systems, Accounting, and Compliance.
