Job Title : Commercial Lending Intern - FL

Estimated Hours / Week : 20-25 hours
About this Position :
The Commercial Lending Intern will have exposure to the Commercial Lending process with a specific focus on verifying commercial real estate appraisals, transferring credit memorandum data for Conventional and SBA loans, and identifying and resolving any discrepancies. They will provide general support to the Commercial Credit Team, including underwriting duties as time allows.
What You'll Do :
Review and verify commercial real estate appraisal information for accuracy to ensure proper input across all software platforms.
Assist in transferring credit memorandum data in the Credit Union’s software application for both Conventional and SBA loans, ensuring consistency and completeness. Collaborate with team members to identify and resolve discrepancies in data.
Support the Commercial Credit team in maintaining up-to-date and accurate loan documentation. Track and report progress in reviewing the Commercial Loan Portfolio.
Participate in Commercial Credit team meetings to understand the workflow and contribute ideas for process improvements.
Complete additional credit underwriting duties as time allows including : spreading financial statements, reviewing credit underwriting documents, and updating administrative tracking.
What You'll Bring :
Current college student at Freshmen, Sophomore, Junior, Senior, Graduate status or a recent graduate within the last three months.
3.0 GPA or greater.
Major in Finance, Business, or related field.
