About this position :
The Information Security Architect is responsible for designing robust security architectures, reviewing current system security measures, recommending enhancements, and identifying areas to improve security posture against advanced threats. This role will be responsible for building strong relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring Information Security requirements are understood and adopted across the organization to protect our members’ data. Collaboration with other business units will be the key to success in this position.
What you’ll do :
Design robust security architectures, reviewing current system security measures, recommending enhancements, and identifying areas for improvement.
Develop relationships with key stakeholders across the organization while driving adoption of secure information technology practices.
Align organizational security strategy and infrastructure with overall business and technology strategy.
Create action plans for policy creation and governance, system hardening, monitoring, incident response, disaster recovery, and emerging cybersecurity threats.
Ensure compliance with the changing laws and applicable regulations.
Evaluate organizational projects for Information Security requirements, ensuring alignment and successful project implementation.
Provide Tier-2 support to cybersecurity staff in response to security-related incidents.

Comply with applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control.
What You’ll Bring :
Five years to eight years of similar or related experience, including preparatory experience.
A college degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
A proven track record in designing, implementing, and managing secure enterprise networks, along with a deep understanding of current security risks, threats, and mitigation strategies. Hands-on experience with cloud security, access management, email security solutions, and LAN / WLAN planning, design, and maintenance is essential.
Expertise in building and implementing Information Security processes and driving adoption across an organization.
Familiarity with information security frameworks such as NIST CSF and CIS Critical Controls as well as auditing and implementation is required. Knowledge of Financial Industry-specific security requirements and regulations.
Knowledge of Offensive Cybersecurity Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs) Incident Response and Recovery Experience Business Continuity Planning and Disaster Recovery Skilled in Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) Tools Advanced Knowledge of Windows Operating Systems Strong Understanding of Network Design and Architecture Proficient with Email Security Solutions In-depth Awareness of Current Security Threats and Events.
Must handle confidential matters with discretion while building trust across all levels. Role requires expert communication skills to influence, guide, and motivate diverse stakeholders, including customers, team members, and external partners.
