About this position:
The Sales and Service Leader is responsible for leading member sales and service and the branch. Ensures compliance with regulatory guidelines and bank policies/procedures, mentors branch employees’ performance to promote a service and sales culture, and manages the daily interactions of staff with members. Recognizes and meets member needs by proactively selling and cross-selling appropriate products and services to new and existing clients. Supports the efforts and goals of the banking center.
What you’ll do:
- Conduct on the job training of, and continuing supervision of, Relationship Bankers.
- Ensure excellent Client Advocacy service on a daily basis. This includes client interactions with staff, quality of work processed to ensure client satisfaction, and scheduling for sufficient coverage necessary to handle client activity.
- Monitor, coach, and encourage sales and referrals by staff. Train staff on products and services of the bank.
- Monitor associate activities, assist with problems, and take action to ensure work standards and schedules are maintained.
- Ensure that the staff is trained on all bank security procedures and is strictly adhering to those procedures at all times.
- Ensure that all monthly and quarterly audits are conducted and that all audit procedures and policies are followed in the banking center.
- Perform supervision of office staff in the absence of the Market Leader. Fill in for absent staff members as needed.
- Promote positive bank image within the community which may include representing the bank in local organizations and events.
- Ensure maintenance and repair of office facilities and/or equipment as needed.
What You’ll Bring:
- A minimum of one year up to three years of similar or related experience.
- Experience in having served in an assistant branch manager capacity or related role required.
- Previous experience in sales, member service, and operations strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated understanding of retail banking operations and financial products and services.
