What are the responsibilities and job description for the Veterinarian position at Lake Mills Veterinary Clinic?
Lake Mills Veterinary Clinic is a two-doctor practice dedicated to enhancing our capabilities and elevating the quality of care for our expanding clientele. As Wisconsin's first Low Stress Handling clinic—a philosophy we've embraced long before formal certification—we prioritize gentle and effective patient interactions. Our full-time behaviorist leads a variety of on-site classes, including puppy socialization, adult manners, and advanced training. We are deeply integrated into our community, offering complimentary Pet Partners seminars covering over 20 pet-related topics.
Our cohesive and compassionate support staff inspires us daily. We value equal input from all team members, fostering a collaborative culture that enhances our services. We define work-life balance by setting realistic expectations, supporting each other both professionally and personally, and nurturing the human-animal bond. Conveniently located off I-94 between Madison and Milwaukee, Lake Mills is a growing community. While the population sign reads six thousand, it doesn't reflect the recent influx of young families attracted by excellent schools, an 1,100-acre lake, and a vibrant Main Street bustling with social hubs, eateries, and year-round events.
