Food Runners

Lake Mohawk Golf Club in Sparta, is looking for 2-3 food runners to join our 96 person strong team. We are located on 471 West Shore Trail in Sparta, NJ. Our ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient and timely delivery of food orders to guests in our restaurant or banquet facility. Working closely with kitchen staff and servers, you will be responsible for ensuring that food orders are accurately prepared, properly plated, and promptly delivered to the appropriate tables. Your attention to detail, communication skills, and customer service focus will contribute to creating a positive dining experience for our guests.

Qualifications and Attributes:

*Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff, servers, and management to convey food order details, special requests, and guest preferences. *Attention to Detail: Keen eye for detail to ensure that food orders are complete, accurate, and presented according to the restaurant's standards. *Physical Stamina: Stamina and endurance to handle constant movement, lifting, and carrying trays or plates of food across the dining area. *Team Player: Collaborative attitude and willingness to work as part of a team to facilitate smooth service and ensure guest satisfaction. *Customer Service Focus: Friendly and professional demeanor with a commitment to providing exceptional customer service and addressing guest inquiries or requests courteously and promptly. *Adaptability and Flexibility: Ability to adapt to changing priorities and navigate high-pressure situations with composure and efficiency in a fast-paced restaurant environment. *Basic Food Safety Knowledge: Understanding of basic food safety principles and practices to ensure proper food handling, storage, and sanitation. *Reliability and Punctuality: Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic, demonstrating reliability in fulfilling job responsibilities and adhering to assigned work schedules.

Qualifications

*High school diploma or equivalent preferred. *Prior experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is beneficial but not required. *Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
