Job Description

Beverage Cart Attendant

Reports to: Food & Beverage Managers, Food & Beverage Director

FLSA Status: Hourly/Non-Exempt

Job Tasks/Duties

· Prepare and stock Beverage Cart in mornings including fresh fruit, wrapped muffins, fresh cut lemons & limes and all beverages (including coffee and hot chocolate during cold months). Restock all products as needed throughout the day.

· Fill Beverage cart with gas and check o.il

· Report to Grill Room to pick up all necessary items (tee sheet, Beverage Cart keys, clipboard, etc.)

· Fill ice compartments on Beverage Cart. Restock ice throughout the day as needed.

· Travel over golf course selling products to members and guests.

· Attend to members and guests requests throughout the day.

· Ensure members and guests receive consistent services and products 

· Ensure that club standards and approved methods of service, safety, cleanliness and integrity are met

· Record all sales made throughout the day. Enter all sales into POS system at the end of the day

· Restock Beverage Cart at end of shift. Drop off any perishable items, Beverage Cart keys and clipboard at Grill Room

· Wash Beverage Cart and clean out all trash

· Secure Beverage Cart compartments and lock Beverage Cart garage

· Assist with coordination and service for on course events as needed

· All other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Essential Requirements

• Understanding  and knowledge of food and beverage industry
• Ability to communicate effectively in English
• Ability to maintain a positive attitude and be helpful to members and guest
• Previous experience working in the food & beverage industry 

Physical Demands and Work Environment

• This position includes (long periods of) balancing, stooping, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting,      grasping, feeling and repetitive motions.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to work in hot conditions for long periods of time.
• Must be physically able to do assigned work as outlined above.
• Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Must be able to read, write and communicate effectively in English.
