MAIN FUNCTION:
The Childcare Coordinator is a member of the Member Services Department Team. The CCC is ultimately responsible for creating a safe and engaging environment for the participants of the Child Care Program. The CCC must be proficient at supervising and managing children ranging from 6 months to 8 years of age. This is achieved by creating a fun environment with opportunities for structured play, age-appropriate learning and positive social interactions. Also, the CCC should demonstrate the interpersonal skills necessary to communicate with parents/guardians in a way that earns their confidence and trust in how the care for their child is delivered. The goal of these efforts is to create an excellent experience for the participants of Child Care and, more importantly, create life-long promoters of the Center.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma or GED
POSITION EXPECTATIONS:
Applied
- Responsible for the safety of each Child Care participant and is well versed in the Emergency Response Plan in case of an emergency.
- Demonstrates the ability to create and deliver age-appropriate programming in a fun and engaging way.
- Can effectively manage children from 6 months to 8 years of age, including small groups, and appropriately handle behavior issues as they arise.
- Responsible for executing the customer Service Standards for all aspects of the operations.
- Demonstrate the ability to form relationships and communicate with members in a way that shows compassion and the willingness to assist the member in any way possible.
- Execute excellent telephone etiquette in a way that is accommodating and helpful to the caller, regardless of the nature of the call.
Administrative
- Demonstrates competency in managing and administering duties related to computer tasks, specifically the Club Management software system, including POS, client scheduling, and general data entry.
- Demonstrates competency with the telephone system daily operations.
- Committed to regularly providing a clean and sanitary facility for all children and guests.
- Routinely completes the department’s daily task check sheet as assigned.
Management (Customer Relations/Team Performance)
- Contribute to achieving a consistently excellent member experience resulting in high member satisfaction ratings and low member attrition.
- Address all member concerns and provide prompt and member-friendly follow-up.
- Proficient and compliant with all current facility policies and procedures.
General
- Consistently meets and/or exceeds the Center’s performance objectives and Key Performance Indicators as outlined in the Annual Strategic Plan.
- Demonstrates the desire to continually improve areas of the business by identifying an area for improvement, devising a solution, then implementing a plan.
