Lake Nona Ophthalmology is seeking a talented and creative Video Production Intern to join our team. This intern will play a key role in producing high-quality video content for our YouTube channel, helping to educate, inspire, and engage our audience. You will work closely with our team to create professional and compelling videos that highlight our services, patient stories, and the latest advancements in eye care.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with our team to conceptualize and storyboard video ideas for YouTube.
- Film engaging content, including interviews with the doctor, patient testimonials, and educational videos about ophthalmology procedures and services.
- Edit video content using Adobe Premiere Pro to create polished, professional videos.
- Enhance videos with graphics, text overlays, and animations where appropriate.
- Optimize video content for YouTube, including adding metadata, thumbnails, and captions to maximize engagement.
- Maintain video production equipment and ensure all shoots are executed efficiently.
- Stay up-to-date on trends in YouTube content and video production to keep our videos modern and relevant.
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Film, Media Production, Communications, or a related field.
- Familiarity with video production equipment (e.g., cameras, lighting, microphones).
- Strong storytelling and creative skills, with the ability to make complex topics easy to understand.
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of YouTube trends, SEO best practices for video, and audience engagement strategies is a plus.
- Passion for health care, patient education, or related industries is preferred.
Preferred Qualification:
