What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Engineer I position at Lake Norman Regional Medical Center?
To operate and maintain mechanical equipment such as steam boilers, emergency power generators, chillers, H.V.A.C. units, refrigeration units, and provide maintenance necessary to create a pleasant, comfortable and safe environment for patient, staff and public. Works with the periodic Preventative Maintenance system to ensure equipment and environment is in proper condition. Works in performance of duties and within the hospital safety program.
- High school education or equivalent required
- Completion of Vocational school is preferred
- One (1) to three (3) years experience in health care or similar maintenance is required
