Job Description
Lake Oconee Academy is seeking applicants for the 2025-2026 school-year for the position of ELA Interventionist Teacher. An Elementary Reading Interventionist identifies and addresses specific needs or challenges through targeted strategies and interventions for students. Struggling students will be supported through small group instructional groupings daily.
Responsibilities Include:

• Conduct assessments to identify areas of need
• Develop and implement intervention plans
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals
• Provide targeted instruction in small groups
• Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
• Maintain accurate records of student progress

Applicants must be certified in the field of Early Childhood Education. Georgia certificates can be verified on the PSC website, but if you are currently certified in another state, please attach a copy of your certificate with your application.
Salary/Terms
190 day contract
Salary based on certification and experience
