Overview
Lake Ontario Fruit Company is looking for a Machine Operator to help us ensure the interminable running of production. Your duties will include machine set up, machine operation and cleaning to ensure maximum performance. Success in this position is achieved through collaborating with co-workers and attention to detail and safety standards.
Duties
- Operate machinery and equipment according to instructions.
- Must show up every scheduled day at 6:45am to set up machines.
- Perform quality control checks, follow reporting and recordkeeping procedures, and report problems to Production Supervisor.
- Conduct routine maintenance on machines and troubleshoot any issues that arise during production.
- Handle materials safely and efficiently, ensuring proper storage and organization within the facility.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and improve efficiency.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following all safety protocols and procedures.
- Good attendance a must.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, specifically as a Machine Operator or similar role.
- Proficiency in operating machining equipment.
- Familiarity with quality control processes.
- Strong understanding of machining principles, materials handling, and assembly techniques.
- Ability to read technical drawings and specifications accurately.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Must be 18 yrs.old or older
