Job Title: Spa ReceptionDepartment: SpaReports To: Spa DirectorFLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Summary: Responsible for maintaining client appointments including booking, confirming, and check in and out and receiving payment for services and product, also performs secretarial duties by performing the following duties.
Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
1. Updates client information daily. *
2. Greets clients upon arrival and assures client files are current. *
3. Answers multi-line telephone in a courteous and timely manner. *
4. Performs all customer service duties to include answering client inquiries via mail, email, in person and telephone regarding services, product information and price information. *
5. Ensures appointment hours are filled in accordance with appointment scheduling guidelines. *
6. Confirms appointments and follows-up with clients regarding missed appointments via telephone and/or email. *
7. Notifies clients of openings or changes in appointment times and schedules accordingly. *
8. Retrieves and files records in accordance with daily schedules. *
9. Organizes and maintains file systems for quick retrieval of information. *
10. Maintains an accurate cash draw and the security of the tip envelopes. *
11. Sells gift certificates at the desk and on the phone. *
12. Resolves client problems/discrepancies in an expeditious and tactful manner. *
13. Required to attend a minimum of four department meetings a year and training sessions as required. *
14. Maintains lobby and robe lounge areas. *
15. Takes parts in service development. *

17. Cleans and dusts retail area.
18. Maintains the locker rooms.
19. Maintains office supplies and organization.

Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Word;Microsoft Excel; Custom Spa Software; Publisher and internet software.
Education/Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and equivalent combination of education and experience.
