What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marketing Assistant position at Lake Orion High School?
Position Summary:
Primary duties will included working in collaboration with instructional staff to oversee all operations of the LOHS School Store (Dragon's Den).
Schedule: Monday - Friday 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must have an excellent attendance record.
- Proficient with accounting, basic math, and bookkeeping.
- Must display a positive attitude with students, staff, and parents at all times.
- Must have previous experience working with school-age children.
- Ability to work with a variety of staff members.
- Ability to function independently with minimum direction.
- Ability to work with a large number of people.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Serve as a good role model for students.
- Knowledge in CPR and first aid is preferred.
- Requires lifting.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise students and the operation of the school store and monitor the lunchroom and common areas.
- Manage daily cash of LOHS School Store.
- Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
