Summary:
Responsible for the medical and personal care around-the-clock for patients in the residential facility. This includes quality of care, compliance, staffing, budgeting, marketing, legal, billing, record-keeping, and other business aspects of the facility. Ensures functions of the facility are in compliance with all federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Develops strategic plans for profitability and accountable for all operations and programs. Administers, directs and coordinates the business.
- Ensures that all activities and operations are carried out in compliance with local, state, federal, and governmental regulations and laws; and that policies and procedures are developed, implemented, monitored, and evaluated on a regular basis.
- Ensures that human resources programs are planned, implemented, and evaluated to meet resident and staff cultural diversity needs.
- Develops and trains personnel within the facility and reviews and appraises their performance directly or through subordinates.
- Establishes facility organization plans and delegate responsibilities, authorities and accountabilities to appropriate subordinates.
- Develops and manages annual operating and capital budgets to effectively utilize fiscal resources.
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in public health administration or business administration.
- Current State Administrator License.
- Two years’ experience in a long term care facility or related medical facility in a leadership role.
