Minimum Qualifications
- Ability to work effectively with students, staff, parents/guardians and other stakeholders
- Previous coaching experience in applicable sport preferred
All Coaches - Yearly Required Trainings:
LPOSD will accord a preference to employment of veterans of the U.S. Armed Services in accord with provisions of Idaho Code 65-503 or it successor. All coaches and sponsors need to complete the following trainings and turn in a current certificate, ASAP.
First Aid & CPR Certification within 90 days of hire, and maintenance of current certificate thereafter.
St. Luke's Concussion Course: Course taken yearly and current certificate on file.
NFHS Sudden Cardiac Arrest Course: Course taken yearly and current certificate on file.
NFHS Student Mental Health & Suicide Prevention Course: Course taken yearly and current certificate on file.
