This is a continuous recruitment position. Work hours and assignments will vary.
Minimum Qualifications
- Age 21 or older
- Satisfactory driving record
- Ability to meet the physical examination standards of the Federal Motero Carrier Safety regulations
- Ability to maintain valid Commercial Driver's License with School Bus and Passenger endorsements, and air brake qualified
- First Aid & CPR Certification provided

LPOSD will accord a preference to employment of veterans of the U.S. Armed Services in accord with provisions of Idaho Code 65-503 or its successor. - Substitute Bus Driver's hourly rate is $17.36
- If applying for a permanent position as a bus driver, starting hourly rate is $18.47 - $23.39/hour, depending on experience
