The salary range for the 2025/26 school year has not been approved yet, the amount for the 2024/25 school year was $49,138 - $71,018 depending on applicable years of experience. This amount will be updated for the 2025-26 school year when the salary matrix has been approved. There are stipends available for education levels at Bachelor's 24 credits, Master's Degree, Doctorate Degree and National Board Certification. The full-year contract is for 190 days.
New teachers to LPOSD are paired with a Mentor Teacher during your first year of employment, assisting you in establishing yourself in the profession and the District. Instructional Coaches are available to all Teachers for curriculum implementation, and Professional Development is routinely available. Six weeks paid Maternity Leave. PERSI Retirement, and amazing employer paid benefits.
