Key Responsibilities
- Set up the kitchen station in time for service, adhering to restaurant guidelines.
- Prepare all food items as directed, ensuring timely and sanitary presentation.
- Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications as set by the chef or restaurant.
- Restock items throughout the shift and take inventory after service.
- Clean and maintain stations, practicing good safety, sanitation, and organizational skills.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or GED is preferred but not required.
- Previous experience is a plus.
- Strong understanding of professional cooking techniques and working knowledge of food.
- Knowledge of safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures.
- Previous prep or line cook experience.
- Excellent communication skills.
