We are seeking a dedicated and organized Assistant Property Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the property management team by ensuring the smooth operation of our residential or commercial properties. The Assistant Property Manager will be responsible for maintaining positive relationships with tenants and assisting in various administrative tasks related to property management.
Duties
- Assist in managing daily operations of the property, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing tenant inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly and professionally.
- Maintain accurate records of tenant interactions, lease agreements, and maintenance requests using property management software.
- Support the leasing process by conducting property tours, upselling available units, and negotiating lease terms with prospective tenants.
- Coordinate maintenance requests and follow up to ensure timely resolution of issues.
- Prepare and manage documentation related to leases, contracts, and legal administrative tasks as needed.
- Assist in marketing efforts for vacant units through various channels to attract potential tenants.
- Collaborate with the property management team on budget planning and financial reporting as required.
Requirements
- Proven experience in customer service or customer relationship management is essential.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Familiarity with legal aspects of property management, including lease agreements and tenant rights is preferred.
- Proficient in office software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite) and property management systems.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on negotiation and sales techniques.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience in property management is a plus but not mandatory.

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 per week
