Lake Region Healthcare is seeking full time or part time Inpatient Clinical Dietitians to join our Nutrition Services team in a fun, fast-paced environment that provides nourishing food to our patients, fellow employees and visitors. Job responsibilities include:
- Monitoring, assessing and optimizing nutrition status based on the patient's current medical condition and/or nutrition adequacy.
- Conferring with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate medical and nutritional needs, and make recommendations for tube and intravenous feedings and/or dietary supplements.
- Teaching patients and/or caregivers how to make nutritionally sound food choices to speed the recovery process, prevent/manage disease and maintain/manage a healthy lifestyle and weight.
Compensation:
Hourly Wage Range: $29.59 - $37.87. Please note that final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications and internal equity considerations.

Qualifications
- Education/Special Skills: Registration with the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, as well as a Minnesota RD license, or to be obtained within 6 months of hire.
- Requires a Bachelor of Science Degree in Food and Nutrition;
- Certification in Diabetes Education or Weight Management is preferred (or willingness to acquire within 2 years).
- Have Food Safety certification or be willing to obtain within 1 year of hire.
- Must possess excellent interpersonal communication skills, decision making abilities, computer application, and mathematical abilities.
- Previous healthcare setting preferred.
- Must have working knowledge of federal, state, a local regulation regarding food safety and sanitation. Proficiency with WordPerfect and Microsoft Office Suite software preferred.
- Visual acuity is needed for inspection of data, figures, computer terminals, and preparing, and reading written materials.
- Successful completion of the pre-employment health screening process required.
- Must be able to attend work site per schedule.
- Travel to outreach clinics is possible.
Salary : $30 - $38
