Description
Come work alongside our fun and fast growing Rehab Therapies team! The Office Assistant is responsible for general office assistant duties including opening the department, patient scheduling, managing referrals and orders, setting up charts, and operating within a robust EHR, and more.
The Office Assistant has contact with patients, including pediatric, adolescent, adults, and geriatrics, hospital employees, visitors, volunteers, administration, students, and physicians. Effective interpersonal and communication skills are essential for this position. Communication skills with all age groups including pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics are necessary when scheduling appointments and when having contact with visitors and family members. The incumbent has access to sensitive, confidential information and must maintain those confidences. He/She must have good typing, computer, and telephone skills. The incumbent establishes the work procedures and priorities with imposed deadlines.
Hours/Shifts
64 hours biweekly, with shifts 4 days a week from 9am-5:30pm in our busy Physical Therapy department in Fergus Falls.
Compensation:
Hourly Wage Range: $17.74 - $22.82/hour. Please note that final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications and internal equity considerations.

Qualifications
Requirements are representative of minimum levels of knowledge, skills, and/or abilities.
- Office or scheduling experience preferred, customer service experience required.
- Education/Special Skills: Demonstrated ability through previous job experience with typing, word processing, and computer skills.
- Successful completion of the pre-employment health screening process required.
- Must be able to attend the work site per schedule.
