What are the responsibilities and job description for the Facilities Team Member position at Lake Sawyer Church?
We are looking for a team member to join our Facilities Team!
The mission of Lake Sawyer Church is to help people find and follow Jesus. The Facilities Team Member bears primary responsibility for fulfilling this mission with facility set up and tear down for weekend services and other special events. Other responsibilities would include assisting the Facilities Manager and other odd jobs as directed by the Finance & Operations Director.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Set up and take down chairs for weekend worship services, and other special services such as Christmas Eve, and Worship Nights.
- Set up and take down tables and/or chairs for occasional gatherings such as memorial services, weddings, or other church events.
- Pick up and sweep the gym floor as needed prior to set up and after take down chairs.
- Clean, fill, and empty the baptistry in preparation of Baptism Sundays.
- Maintain the chairs in a clean and organized manner in the chair room.
- Perform other facilities maintenance duties as directed by the Finance & Operations Director.

- Possess a whatever it takes attitude.
- You know better than to stick a screwdriver in there.
- You have a fourth-degree black belt in laughter.
WHO YOU ARE
- Dependable, responsible, and self-motivated.
- Able to reach, bend, twist, stoop, kneel, push, and pull.
- Able to lift, push, pull, and move supplies and equipment up to 50 pounds.
- Have an understanding of Lake Sawyer Church and its culture and values.
