What are the responsibilities and job description for the Guest Experience Coordinator position at Lake Sawyer Church?
We are looking for a new team member to create a warm and welcoming environment and ensure an outstanding first impression for all who visit Lake Sawyer Church on Sundays. This role directly supports the Connections Department, with a strong emphasis on hospitality, guest engagement, and helping new attendees integrate into the church community.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Ensure a welcoming and positive experience for all guests from the moment they arrive on campus until they leave.
- Support the engagement process, particularly for first-time visitors and those taking initial steps in their connection journey.
- Oversee Sunday morning Connections Team, including recruitment, development, and scheduling of volunteers and team leaders.
- Plan and execute various special Sunday events throughout the year, including (but not limited to) Super Sunday Showdown, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, and Christmas Eve.
- Develop and maintain the ministry calendar, coordinate meetings, and manage logistics for special Sunday events.
- Assist in the development and management of the Connections Ministry budget.
- Ensure timely and effective communication with all teams and leaders.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Connections Director.
