Front Gate Security Position

Summary:

Lake Sherwood Estates Association is a gated community which serves 500 households and 600 lot owners in Warren County, Missouri. Our members enjoy the use of many amenities, including our beautiful lakes, parks, community center, Lakeside Grill, campgrounds, and pool. We are now hiring for part time Front Gate Security Personnel, in 12 hour shifts, both day and overnight, weekdays and weekends. The Front Gate Security position consists primarily of allowing guest and Member access, taking phone calls addressing concerns and complaints and redirecting calls to the proper departments. The Front Gate Guard is also responsible for computer entry of guests and their vehicle information, along with other tasks as assigned.

Essential Job Duties:

• Verifying guest and member entrance.
• Answering the phone and email, entering and redirecting Member requests.
• Sales of watercraft decals, RFID tags, ice; no single cash transaction greater than $5.
• Completing boat registration and camping registration
• Handling of sales and balance sheets and closing cash drawer at end of shift.
• Gathering new owner information to forward to Administration.
• Reviewing new owner packets to verify new owner information as well as explaining certain LSEA information for their understanding of rules, policies and amenities.
• The Front Gate Guard works as a dispatch with Road and Lake Patrol officers and Warren County Sheriff’s department when necessary.

Knowledge , Skills & Abilities-Minimum Qualifications:

· Must be 18 years of age or older.

· Must have valid Driver’s License.

· Customer service skills are a must; in person, via email and over the phone.

· Must have general computer skills and data entry skills.

· Must be able to lift 25 lbs.

· Must be able to work in a fast- paced environment.

· Must be able to multi-task and remain organized.

· Must be capable of working required 12 hour shifts.

· Pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening

Physical Abilities:

• Must be able to speak and hear clearly
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds; to bend, stoop, or twist as necessary
• Must have clarity of vision and the ability to adjust focus
• Must be able to walk and climb stairs
• Regular attendance is necessary and essential job duty

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

• 12 hour shift

• Lake Sherwood, MO 63357: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
