The Skills You Bring
- Implement the breakout of plant warehouse locations into separate plants to enhance inventory tracking of raw, work-in-progress (WIP), and finished meat products.
- Lead the consolidation of multiple company codes into one, ensuring consistency in financials and procurement across meat processing facilities.
- Enable finished goods handling units (HUM) to track palletized meat products, lot numbers, shelf-life expiration, and cold chain logistics.
- Automate goods receipt label printing, integrating barcode scanning and RFID solutions for real-time inventory tracking.
- Establish standardized production and costing Bills of Materials (BOMs) for different meat cuts, ensuring accurate yield calculations, waste tracking, and cost allocation.
- Ensure seamless quality management workflows (state or status changes) as inventory moves through the network
- Automate label printing for raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished meat products using SAP SmartForms / Adobe Forms.
- Lead data migration efforts for plant restructuring and company code consolidation.
- Ensure BOMs, recipes, and work center master data align with meat industry standards.
- Develop and execute test scripts for SAP enhancements, ensuring compliance with USDA, FDA, and other food safety regulations.
- 5-7 years of SAP MM / PP experience, with expertise in manufacturing, and the meat processing or food manufacturing industry is preferable.
- Strong knowledge of plant and warehouse restructuring, company code consolidation, and inter-plant stock transfers.
- Experience with handling unit management (HUM), batch management, and perishable food product traceability.
- Hands-on experience with SAP MRP, BOMs, routing, production orders, and costing integration.
- Experience automating goods receipt label printing and integrating barcode scanning & RFID solutions.
- Familiarity with SAP SmartForms / Adobe Forms for label automation.
- Understanding of WM/EWM and QM integration for warehouse operations and food safety compliance.
- Knowledge of HACCP, USDA/FDA food safety regulations, and cold chain logistics is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
