About the Role:
We are in search of a Product Marketer to develop and execute the technical marketing strategy for assigned product categories and bring products to market. The role will also be responsible for sharing out impactful product performance summaries and market feedback to drive assigned products and company-wide strategic decision making. This role will act on behalf of Lake Shore Cryotronics as the product lifecycle manager, product positioning expert, product sales advocate, product marketing programs leader, and product market voice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Marketing Strategy and Program Development: Lead product line marketing strategy to facilitate new business development for sustainable and profitable growth. Develop marketing programs, messaging, and campaigns to promote new products and drive growth of existing products. Support the creation of content, collateral, and promotional materials in collaboration with the Marketing team.
- Product Lifecycle Support: Manage technical marketing of assigned product portfolios from market launch to end of life. Monitor and report key performance metrics for existing product sales and new product launches. Stay informed on current market trends and needs related to assigned product lines. Stay abreast of competitors and their products and activities to ensure competitive positioning.
- Sales Support and Training: Develop and deliver technical sales training for the sales team and external distributors to ensure understanding of features and benefits associated with assigned product lines. Maintain regular market contact through sales channel collaboration, customer engagement, trade conference support, and technology research.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Interface with Marketing, Sales, Engineering, Manufacturing, Distributor Reps, and Customers.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree
- 3-5 years of experience in product management, technical marketing, or business development in a technical industry
Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree in electrical engineering, physics or similar technical/scientific field
- Advanced degree in a technical field or MBA
- Work experience with a scientific measurement/test equipment product line
