Job Summary
The Director assists the Chief Academic Officer with all aspects of teaching and learning, including faculty professional development programs and academic policies, The Director will facilitate and track academic programs articulation agreements and curriculum changes and support the academic deans with student learning outcomes assessment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist academic leaders with all aspects of academic program and student learning outcomes assessment.
- Assist other academic administrators with all facets of new program development as directed by the VP of Academic Affairs.
- Complete necessary documentation to communicate program changes to FLDOE and assist the institution’s accreditation liaison with any required notifications/programs needed for the accrediting agency.
- Ensure completion of all requirements to establish academic (credit and non-credit) programs.
- Ensure appropriate curriculum updates are made to all college materials (i.e., catalog, website, marketing materials, etc.) as related to accreditation and articulation.
- Develop and revise academic program articulation agreements in collaboration with appropriate faculty and staff, including the articulation of credit between non-credit and credit programs.
- Facilitate the academic-related portion of the process to award credit for prior learning.
- Assist the VP of Academic Affairs (chief academic officer) as needed to track curriculum changes internally and at the state level.
- Assist the VP of Academic Affairs (chief academic officer) with tracking legislative requirements related to academics.
- Assist the VP of Academic Affairs (chief academic officer) with coordinating and/or completing reports as assigned.
- Participate in grant efforts as assigned.
- Supervise and evaluate assigned employees.
- Serve on College committees as assigned.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications & Education
- Minimum Education:
- Master’s Degree from a regionally accredited institution

Minimum Experience/Training:
- Three (3) years of experiencewiththeFloridaCollegeSystemandSACSCOCorotherregionalaccreditationagencypoliciesandprocedures; academic program development; assessment of student learning; and academic articulation.
