The Student Assistant will provide essential support, working closely with faculty and staff to ensure the efficient operation of departmental activities.
This is a part-time position with an expected commitment of 20 hours per week. The schedule will be flexible to accommodate the student's academic and other responsibilities.

- Answer helpdesk calls and assist callers
- Maintain accurate equipment inventories and perform routine inventory counts
- Assist IT technician in installing hardware and software
- Service college copiers and WEPA printers with toner and simple troubleshooting
- Perform cable management tasks for neatness and safety
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Strong Organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent Verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

- Currently enrolled at Lake Sumter State College (min. 6 credit hours)
- Currently, hold and maintain a minimum 2.0 GPA
