Lake Superior Community Health Center is currently seeking a Part Time Phlebotomist to work at our Superior, WI location.

In line with our values and mission, Phlebotomists serve as an integral member of the care team by providing welcoming, accessible comprehensive care for patients of all ages. The Phlebotomist is responsible for collecting patient specimens, performing waived lab testing and general clerical duties.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND CREDENTIALS
· High School graduate or equivalent.
· Graduate from accredited phlebotomy program preferred.
· Six months of phlebotomy/healthcare experience
· EMR/EHR familiarity with documentation and data entry experience.
Functions and Responsibilities:
1. Open and close lab according to policy and procedure.
2. Perform phlebotomies and process specimens.
3. Perform laboratory tests in-house or send out to reference laboratories as appropriate.
4. Enter lab results into the patient medical record.
5. Record keeping.
6. Quality control.
7. Instrument maintenance.
8. Assure cleanliness of lab.
9. Maintain competencies on lab procedures and protocol.
10. Comply with CLIA and COLA guidelines and standards.
11. Maintains patient confidentiality.
12. Other duties as assigned.
13. Ability to travel between sites, as needed, and as otherwise required by the organization.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.65 - $17.73 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
