What are the responsibilities and job description for the Helicopter Ground Crew position at Lake Superior Helicopters, LLC?
Lake Superior Helicopters is seeking hard working and motivated individuals to work as a Helicopter Ground Crew for our summer event season. Lake Superior Helicopters' home base is here in Duluth with several offices spreading from Park Point to the airport. We also fly out of many fairs and festivals scattered across MN, IA, WI, and more. It’s a fun and fast past environment with customers and coworkers at a new event every weekend. We are looking for team members who are up for the exciting experience around customers and helicopters.
This position is scheduled as needed, typically 3 - 4 days a week with the potential of 30-40 hours at events.
Job duties will include but are not limited to:
- Welcoming customers warmly to our locations
- Checking customers in for their tour flight
- Selling flight upgrades
- Escorting passengers safely into and out of the helicopter
- Securing Landing Zones (LZ)
- Set-Up and Pack-Up of Equipment
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Reliable, Responsible
- Interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities
- Must be available on weekend
- Must have reliable mode of transportation
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 40 per week
