As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting cocktails, serving drinks, and ensuring that our guests have an enjoyable experience. Your expertise in bartending and food service will contribute to the vibrant atmosphere of our establishment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of craft cocktails and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Efficiently manage high-volume orders while ensuring quality and consistency.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Engage with customers, taking drink orders, providing recommendations, and ensuring satisfaction throughout their visit.
- Monitor guest consumption of alcohol to ensure responsible service and compliance with legal regulations.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and managing tabs.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service when necessary.
- Stay updated on drink trends, new menu items, and promotions to enhance the guest experience.
- Adhere to all food safety and handling regulations to maintain a safe environment for both staff and patrons.
- Uphold company standards for customer service and professionalism.
Skills
- Proven experience in bartending in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of mixology, classic cocktails, and modern cocktails trends.
- Strong knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and drink measurements.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on hospitality and customer service.
- Ability to work calmly and efficiently in a high-pressure environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A positive attitude, teamwork mentality, and willingness to learn new skills related to the bar industry.
Requirements
- Valid Servsafe Certification for handling food, per California State Law.
- Current ABC Certification for serving alcohol, per California State Law.
