What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Director of Finance position at Lake Taylor Transitional Care Hospital?
As the Assistant Director of Finance, you will work to help support the hospital’s financial strategy, providing leadership through comprehensive financial analysis, management, and decision support. You will collaborate with the Director of Finance, President/CEO, and other facility leaders to drive financial performance and support the hospital's mission of delivering exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Lead and coordinate financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Develop and implement financial strategies to improve operational efficiency and profitability.
- Manage monthly financial closings, including all aspects of the annual financial review audit.
- Provide financial analysis and decision support to senior leadership.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Oversee financial planning, capital management, and investment strategies. Mentor and develop finance team members, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with various departments to optimize financial performance and achieve organizational goals.
The ideal Assistant Finance Director will meet the following requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Experience in Financial management in a healthcare setting.
- Strong financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting skills.
