Our hospice center is seeking qualified professionals who have a passion for providing high-quality nursing care. The ideal candidate will be compassionate and dedicated to helping patients and their families, while also carefully evaluating all treatment plans based on current medical and research findings. Candidates must also be able to work independently and possess excellent time management skills.
Responsibilities:
- Provide emotional support to patients, family members, and caregivers in hospice care.
- Provide palliative and comfort care to patients and their family members.
- Provide information regarding the disease process and its prognosis to the physician, patient, and family members.
- Communicate with primary care provider regarding patient's progress.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient issues and needs.
- Review patients' medications and coordinate changes or additions.
- Provide advice on issues related to hospice care.
- Assess the effects of medications on patients' conditions.
Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 10 per week
