Job Summary:
Provides support to accounting functions, complying with district financial obligations. Provides financial information, instructions and/or support to other personnel, ensuring that district revenues are within budget and allocated accordingly. Provides financial information to supervisors, superintendent and board, and authorizes final action compliant with accounting requirement. Provides financial services and processes financial functions on a timely basis All general administrative support positions are expected to perform common office procedures such as answering phones; providing information and customer service to students, employees and/or the community; word processing or data entry; and maintaining records. Although certain recurring tasks or responsibilities may be assigned to certain individuals within an office with multiple support positions, all employees in these positions are expected to contribute to keeping the office functioning effectively and efficiently.
The individual in this position will be responsible for reviewing payroll for locations and departments throughout the District. This position will work with the payroll guidelines from Collective Bargaining Agreements and the Internal Revenue Service to verify pay, timesheets, substitute pay, extra pay, pay rates, account codes, and time off.
Hourly Rate: $34.90 (SC8 LWESP Salary Schedule)
This position is eligible for membership in the Lake Washington Educational Support Professionals.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
The usual and customary methods of performing the job’s functions requires the following physical demands: Frequent lifting, carrying, handling/grasping, fingering/pinching and keyboarding; Occasional pushing and/or pulling; some climbing, twisting, bending, stooping, and crouching. Generally the job requires 90% sitting, 5% walking and 5% standing. The job is performed under minimal temperature variations, a generally hazard free environment, and in a clean atmosphere.
