About us
We are a full functioning independent retail pharmacy located in a medical building. Our hours are better than what any major corporate chain can provide. We close at 6 pm and are always closed on Sundays. We are competitive. We need someone who is motivated, efficient, and fast paced. We mean business, but we are also a relaxed and fun environment.
Most importantly, we need a licensed pharmacy technician who can type prescriptions fast and understand how to process the insurance side of prescription typing. We also need the candidate to be able to help us with inventory management, notably looking for best pricing of medications through our wholesalers. Responsibilities:
- Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications to patients
- Perform medication inventory management and stock replenishment
- Maintain patient profiles and ensure accurate record-keeping
- Process prescription orders and verify insurance information
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare professionals
- Answer phone calls and address inquiries or concerns
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Pharmacy Technician certification (CPhT) preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology and pharmacy practices
- Proficient in using pharmacy software systems for data entry and prescription processing
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
